Vince's Sports Center's 2009 Air Hockey Challenge was its biggest tournament yet. 44 contestants turned out and played over 100 games during a 3-hour battle that was waged on 3 tables at once. This year there was a Junior Division consisting of 16 youngsters between the ages of 8 and 15. The Senior Division had 28 men and women aged 17 to 51. Vince's would like to thank all the contestants for their level of comaradarie and enthusiam during the tournament. It was very inspiring and made a memorable experience for all.     A special thanks goes to George and Jane Robinson for their continued support and assistance during all of our tournaments. And to the Delaware Diamonds basesball team led by Dave Cochran for their outstanding sportsmanlike conduct and support of the Air Hockey Challenge.     First place winner Gabrial Sanchez from New York bumped up the level of competition this year with his amazing speed and knowledge of the game. Gabe had some close games but remained undefeated the whole night during the double elimination process. Gabe humbly gave up some secrets and techniques after the game . We hope to see him in future competitions.     The amazing Mikey and Lucky Larry also highlighted the night with their 2nd annual Ms. PacMan competition. Mikey kept his winning streak alive for the 2nd year in a row . But Larry was a very close second and has been steadily improving.
