The Par-3 golf tournament of 2009 was our biggest one yet . There were 30 contestants, including five Father-and-Son teams. The tournament was kicked off by the beautiful singing of the Star Spangled Banner by Aierelle Brittingham. The action lasted for almost 2 hours and ended with an exciting sudden-death playoff on hole Number One for Third Place. After the Tournament, everyone was served the finest chicken and rib platters by Don's Smoke Dim Bones BBQ. Don's barbeque was a major hit again this year. Vince's would like to send special thanks to this year's sponsors. The 3 huge trophies were donated by Crown Trophy of Peoples Plaza (thanks, Tom!), and thanks to Coca Cola for providing all the beverages during the tournament at no charge.
 
2009 Winners... First Place: Fritz Carlston; Second Place: Matt Russell; Third Place: Ernie Bailey The last two left in a sudden death shootout for third place. The tournament got off to a great start with the singing of the Star Spangled Banner by Aierelle Brittingham. Shawn Bey makes a perfect drive on Number 4. He and his son were one of five father-and-son teams. The first nice day in almost two weeks was on the night of the tournament. Don, Stan, and Ernie face off on Number 9 with some close putts. Don's Smoke Dim Bones did a great job again this year.
